The pathophysiology of pyuria is based on the cause of the disease. The inflammatory changes of the urinary tract may also be caused by chemical irritants and mechanical irritants. The presence of urinary calculi also causes pus cells in urine. Cloudiness of urine is the sign of pus cells in urine.
